The scope is a Vintage 50's Weaver KV 2-5x32 Variable w/fine crosshairs in Leupold rings & mounts. Preliminary shooting loosened the rings & mounts (in my excitement forgot to lok-tite) hance the large groups. I have since managed 1.5" MOA w/AA-2495 and Hornady's 150 SST's , a very consistent load. ...

Spanish action/Turk barrel

So.. will a Turkish small ring threaded barrel work in a Spanish 1893 action, thinking about a 8mm cast only Brush gun,
short barrel ... maybe 18" with Williams Sporter Iron sights (no glass) just a tight timber carbine for 100 yds & less.
