Well most of us have made impulse buys without being fully informed (I know I have) and then regretted it later. Hopefully the rifle will be a decent shooter.

Have you tried determining the year of manufacture from the serial number? Does anyone know what years "FJA" was an inspector?

Any other interpretations? One possibility is that you have March 1921 barrel on your gun. Does your barrel also have the "U.S. <bomb> MILITARY FINISH" stamp.
