Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Thanks for this discussion - I'm ordering a couple of kits right now. Might make great Christmas presents for my kids too.

Both J&G and Classic have been selling these for $229

and now AIM jumps in the ring at $259 and theirs don't appear to be any better.

I think people are getting sick of the high prices.
Yes, I'm sick of high prices these days and I've only been collecting milsurps for 11 years. I can only imagine how the folks that have been collecting for decades feel about todays high prices and limited availability.

Re: Big Fond du Lac WI Gun show Sat

Sounds like you had a great time - congrats on the MAS 36. Way better than most of the gun shows I've been to in my neck of the stinking desert.

Re: '96 long rifle at 500 yards

Great shooting either way - I don't think I could even see the target beyond 200 yards. One of my recent acquisitions was a Swede - now I need to get to the range and try it out (at 100 yards) :D

Re: '96 long rifle at 500 yards

Incredible shooting as always - 800 yards with iron sights and a 83%+ hit rate :handgestures-thumbup: - let us know how the match turns out.

Well I hope that occasionally you can post some of your items for sale here (like the good 'ol days) so the SRF members get a shot.

Re: The Vietnam War, Ken Burns PBS

There is enough "new" (less commonly known) information presented in this series to make it extremely interesting IMHO - especially in the areas of early American involvement in the region, plus the political insight into the way multiple presidents viewed the war and the way they misled the public.

Re: Swiss lugers @ AIM

I wish I'd tripped over a spare $2K yesterday and I'd have bought one - alas, it didn't happen.
Hopefully someone here bought one and can share some pics.

I'm saving up some funds for WHEN the .45's are finally available via the CMP - hopefully that will happen.

That's a cool looking vintage pistol - love the grip - thanks for sharing. Still has the lanyard ring too. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
