Re: Hunting with milsurps

This year I think I'm going to do a Canadian/Commonwealth themed hunt and use a No.4 MK1* and a No.1 MK III and a No.5 and a sported M10 Ross rifle (only because I can't afford an original) Last year was a Mauser year, I used an R.C. k98 and my Brazilian m954. Thinking about a Russian theme for next...

Re: Hunting with milsurps

I understand. It's unfortunate that younger people in your area are not getting into hunting. Where I live in rural southern Ontario younger people are still getting into it. You won't find much work going on in towns around here during the rifle season. I would never scope or sporterize a milsurp f...

Hunting with milsurps

Maybe I'm posting this in the wrong place as this is just a suggestion but I was thinking maybe there should be a forum on here for hunting with milsurps. Both my wife and I hunt deer with our milsurp rifles and I was thinking other people must do the same. It would be nice to have a place to share ...

Re: Brazilian beauty

Thank you for the compliments It definitely has the nicest stock in my collection I was lucky to score this one. The stock and receiver and barrel are matching but the numbers on the bolt are very faint the ones I can make out seem to match but I cant read them all to be 100% sure. Bore is excellent...

Brazilian beauty

Wasn't looking for a Brazilian mauser that I knew nothing about, but when I saw this M954 beauty at a gun auction I fell in love with her gorgeous wood grain pattern and just had to have her. I'm assuming it's Brazilian walnut.

Integrity March

The CCFR (Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights) is organizing a march rather than a protest through the streets of Ottawa, starting and ending on parliament hill. Rather than a protest the idea of the march is to unite gun owners and draw attention about the injustice and ineffectiveness of gun ba...

Re: Canada has fallen to the gun grabbers

This is very upsetting to say the least,I am no longer able to consider myself a proud Canadian. I've had several sleepless nights, how long will it be before they come after the rest of our semi-auto's. We can only pray for a change of government to save us a while longer. I hope this never happens...

Thanks for looking if you would like anymore or better pics let me know. As for import marks I don't think there are any unless they are hidden under the wood. I don't think they're required here in Canada.
