Was your old barrel marked for 380? I read somewhere that some importers put a spacer in the chamber in order to shoot 380.

CH4D has reloading dies, you can form the brass form 8 x 56r brass and cream of wheat.

I have been using this company for 3 years with no issues and I didn't have to give them any serial numbers.
