Re: Model of 1917 Eddystone (Sporter)

Mine is quite similar to yours, except with a peep sight instead of scope mounts. Sure, it's not original but it was under $200 and in great condition.

Re: Chinese Mannlichers

There's a book titled China's Small Arms of the 2nd Sino-Japanese War for sale on that site ( http://chinesefirearms.com/ad2.html ), but only the English version is available. Reviews have stated that the best version is the Chinese one, followed by the Chinese/English version, because the images ar...

Re: Link to Clip Markings

So a little while back I decided that the St. Petersburg plant would have been the most likely (if not only) plant that could have made ammunition and clips for the captured Mannlicher rifles. On another forum ( http://forum.violity.com/viewtopic.php?p=7328666&highlight=#7328666 ) I came across post...

Chinese Mannlichers

The site, http://chinesefirearms.com/ has a good bit of info about Chinese firearms in general, but thanks to a guy named Gindenburg on another forum I found out that they had purchased Model 1888 Mannlichers from Austria, and made their own ammunition for them. Here's the translated version of the ...

Re: Eddystone fixer upper
