Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Browning has ceased producing Hi Power

If policy at Browning is the same as it was a few years back...they will not provide service OR parts for models out of production. My B80 shotgun has been discontinued for years but Browning did steer me to the business they sold all their parts to upon the discontinuation of this model. There shou...

If you crimp a cast bullet it hurts the accuracy . The more you crimp it , the more it shaves the bullet as it exits the case mouth .
Would this then not hurt accuracy on cast revolver ammunition. Such factory ammo is heavily crimped as are my great shooting reloads.

And try some "blemished" Nosler RDF BULLETS for 20cents each! Even less if you are LE, Military or Veteran.

Re: Reloading 9mm brass shot in Glocks

Same die set as me...don't know why I said "titanium", it's Carbide. A lot of my brass is Glock fired all loaded with no problem in many 9mm pistols including a 1962 P38.

I see others on the net report the same issue as you.

Re: Reloading 9mm brass shot in Glocks

The Lee factory crimp die is supposed to size all of the case for certain function. It can be adjusted to not crimp bullet if desired. It can also size lead or plated bullets in the case reducing accuracy some report. Best used on jacketed .355" reloads. What was your original die set? I have Used R...

Re: Malaysian 7.62x51mm - Any good?

I received many of the 540 rd cans of Malaysian 7.62. Not a spot on any of it. Far from "junk" I would shoot it in my M1A over Lake City* any day.

*I am a Veteran and a Patriot...but Lake City M80 ball is just average milsurp 7.62x51 ammo at best.

Re: VOLLEY FIRE

His Jap rifle had a tangent sight for normal military situations. A Volley Sight was in most cases an additional sight often mounted on the left side of the stock and used for group fire at VERY long ranges that exceed the distance of the regular rifle sight ( 1600-2000+ yards). A target at 500yards...

Re: What long range load works for your Type 38?

Hodgdon lists. 35gr of H335 for 2414fps as max load (140gr bullet) and no powders faster. NORMA shows nothing approaching that speed.

With your tight bore you might get 2500fps.

Re: Teaching my old neighbor how to shoot long range.

Great to see new shooters at the range! I expect to see youngsters coming out and hope to bring one to this weeks match, but oldsters are good to.

She needs to grab a nice SKS. Stock would fit her, iron sights would do, and it 'might' topple most of our steel critters. Rams @ 500? Nope.
