Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: NM MILSURPS "Winter War" 800 yard match

Fun match but tough day for me. 2 hits out of 20 with the Finn M39. Plenty of close misses!

Maybe I should stick to hand grenades?

Re: New Finnish M28-76

Nice rifle! I have a 28-30 that was once a 28-76 but now a regular infantry rifle... can’t figure out why that happened! M28/57 Maybe? https://i.imgur.com/T9oCxX2.jpg?1 M28/57 quite possibly. It has milling & tapping for receiver sight and bolt handle notch....now in standard stock and with regular...

I was so glad that 1,000 Arshini worked! The next "notch" was 1,200 and sailed the bullet into Santa Fe! I found the rifle will not shoot Light Ball surplus loads worth a darn.

Re: What is the history of this 1891 rifles markings?

Is there an importer marked on the rifle? The added serial number on the receiver would suggest a recent import...not done in the 1980s and 90s...or before 1968.

Re: Crazy prices on guns at show

$800 is too much for an unissued Polish M44, but I don’t think you will find one under $500 very often.

A bargain compared to an Unissued M1 Garand or K98 Mauser.

Re: What's In My Barrel?

The only problem with sweets, which is great product, is the high ammonia content. You can't safely use it for long term soaking because of that & nickelling needs the long soak because you have to break the chemical bond which is what makes it so tough to remove. I have sweets & use it at the rang...

Re: What's In My Barrel?

Maybe Nickel from bullet jackets. Whatever it is WD40 isn’t an effective bore cleaner. You need to try something better at this specific task and brushes not patches. I guess I should have included this on my original posting but these images were taken after the application of Hoppes Bore Cleaner,...

Re: K31 help please

The bullet may be contacting the origin of rifling..makes extraction difficult and prevents full pin impact on the primer.

Check the extracted rounds for marks on the bullet ogives from the lands.

Great day for a match! 19 targets were placed out for milsurpers to down.
Beretta 92 downed them with 25 shots
CZ 75 did it with 31 shots
Colt 1911 took 44 shots

Fun for all!

Re: Carcano Bore Brush

Try a .270 brush. It will be stout enough to scrub even a worn 268” bore.
