Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: FOX PELTS

Neat picture! My brother and I always loved red foxes (eastern Tennessee) and I remember their pelts hanging for sale at roadside vendors on old US Hwy 11 when we went on trips in the 1950's. Our parents never bought us one, despite our begging! Now I live in southeastern AZ, and while we have plent...

Re: Model 11 barrel date code - Photos added

Probably preaching to the choir, but for those new to the Rem 11 (or any other long-recoil operated shotgun), please remember that there are adjustments that need to be made to shoot lower powered shells (dove/quail/Walmart promo ammo) and higher powered loads. You tube has videos on how to adjust/a...

Re: Adding a little French flavor to the collection

Beautiful set up! The 49/56 is a great rifle, and does not get the appreciation it deserves, IMO.
How easy/difficult is it to adjust the sniper scope?? Curious what your opinion is of the quality of the scope--

Re: Marlin Model 19 Shotgun

Some good info here---tho I do recall a post on some (Marlin??) forum that walked u thru the test to see if the gun was operating safely the way it was originally.
Not to say if one passed the test it would be a good idea to shoot, but one wonders if the gun would be safe with light dove/quail loads.

Re: 1953 Yugo 8mm.

What mr. ghost devil said--primers seem to be seated a bit deeper than most ammo we see. If u have a lot, try a increased firing pin spring--friend gave me one (Wolff 24# IIRC) that did the trick for an unusually accurate Yugo Mauser. Heavy bullet (198 gr) so there is a bit of recoil--pretty accurat...

Welcome back! No expert, but when they first came into the USA all I saw were blued---
Your plans to use your revolver as a trail gun touches my nostalgia button--I enjoy roaming the desert with vintage
or milsurp guns.
