My kids use 18gr for that projectile weight, but 16.5 will do it, and please post your chrono result.

Re: Swiss Photo Thread

No, Indy. Not common at all, but if you look closely, it says "General Pierre St.Marie" That's me LOL! The engraved it to me before they shipped it from Brislach.

Re: Swiss Photo Thread

We have both A Damper and a Brake that are both screw on. They require a threader which we also manufacture. I'm not much on changing an issue rifle, abut if I salvage a stock and refinish it, it's a candidate for the threader. We only have two that are threaded in the entire armoury, but having as ...

Re: Swiss Photo Thread

And I forgot. This is one of our prize k31s in the Armoury. It's an Officers issue rifle and mint with Swiss Dagger. https://oimg.photobucket.com/albums/v87/zfk3155/Officersk31.jpg It came to me engraved from Switzerland as an appreciation gift for my contribution to the Swiss shooting public. Re: Swiss Photo Thread

Thank you! Actually what you're seeing is a Damper. This one is proven to cut group sizes with proven loads by 35%. My Son's personal rifle has one of these and the target below it is a completely repeatable target shot at 135 yards. https://oimg.photobucket.com/albums/v87/zfk3155/IMG_3094_zpsgogted...

KK..... Recommend that you use BLO and not raw linseed oil. Raw linseed will remain sticky for a time after application. BLO will not.

Re: GP11 reloaded brass.

Good shooting, kraggman! GP11 brass is the same as the boxer primed 7.5x55 brass from RUAG. It's Swiss National Match brass, and beats Norma by a very wide margin. RE17 appeared around 1995 when Alliant added the RE powders to their inventories. Reloder powders come from the same munitions plant in ...
