Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: FN49 Argentinian contract? in 7mm.

I never got mine to cycle correctly with commercial ammo. I tried the Privi and it didn't go well. Perhaps I should check my gas port plug.

Re: Southernland springs Texas shooting

I'm glad the AF admitted their failure and didn't try and cover it up. It appears there are some cracks in the system that have been exposed and will now be repaired. Would that have made a difference? We will never know, but seeing how crazy he was it is not unreasonable to think he would have acqu...

Re: Vegas Gunman's Use of Bump Stock Reduced Casualties

That is very interesting. I had a similar Facebook discussion with a person about this. They didn't listen. It is all about making us feel safe not being safe. This will all blow over in another few weeks unless the Republicans push it. I find it interesting that Paul Ryan is trying to get the ATF t...

Re: The new slippery slope?

They are trying to punt this to the ATF and get them to do something through regulations. Then they don't have to vote. The problem is they would have to redefine fully auto. That is the slippery slope. If it is not in the original legislation, just have the bureaucracy make a new rule through their...

Re: Las Vegas Shooting

It is all over the news that the NRA wants regulations on bump stocks.
They have already caved to the pressure. I'm totally shocked. We
don't even know the whole story yet and they throw in the towel. It
won't stop with bump stocks, never does when you crack the door.

Oh, now I see. If she was in the hotel you know they have a good video of her.

Re: Las Vegas Shooting

I read today she left several weeks ago to travel in Asia. She arrived in Manila on Sept. 15 from Tokyo. She went to Hong Kong on Sept. 22 and came back to Manila Sept. 25. The Wall Street Journal says GOP is considering a ban on bump fire stocks. Diane Feinstein introduced legislation that would ba...

Diazepam, I wonder what else he may have got in another state?
It is so bizarre.
I just read that Cabelas removed bump-stocks from their online store.
That didn't take very long.

Re: Las Vegas Shooting

I've never felt compelled to have a bump fire stock. Ammo is too expensive for that type of shooting. My range doesn't allow them either. They are worried about people losing control and shooting over the berms. I've spent part of the evening (wasting time) talking to liberals on Facebook. What a ti...

Re: Las Vegas Shooting

Cops just said they found two "Bump Fire" rifle stocks. If you want one, get it now. Those will be on the chopping block. I'm just guessing the current suppressor legislation is now dead. I was looking forward to removing them from the NFA. That would have lowered prices and then perhaps I would ha...

Re: Las Vegas Shooting

What I just read on Fox News was, the rifle is an AR15 that was converted to full auto, along with 10 or 15 other guns, this apparently came from a police spokesman. I'm not sure I believe that. If you compare one of the full auto mag dumps on youtube, it sounds much faster than what I heard on the...

Re: Las Vegas Shooting

I'm amazed at all the "gun" experts I'm hearing on the radio. Most of these people are clueless about gun laws. They keep talking about automatic fire and we don't even know what weapon or weapons he used. Now some people are saying they heard two shooters. One "expert" was talking about a belt fed ...

I like it. Any decent surplus rifle you can get for $220 in today's market
seems like a good deal to me.

Both.
Musketry was a very thoroughly taught skill back then. Indoor training at 25 yds was the place all were trained in he basics, then they graduated to the .303 for final finishing at longer rages.
That's interesting, I had no idea they did that. It looks like a fun rifle and cheap to shoot.
