Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: My No4 Enfield rifles....................

Thank you Tommy for the information, very helpful. Yes, the serial # prefix is PF and is stamped No4 MK2 (F) 10/53 PF 372xxx on the receiver.

My No4 Enfield rifles....................

I have two, a 1943 BSA MK I rifle with matching receiver, bolt and magazine and a 1953 BSA (I believe) MK II all matching rifle in like new condition. I just picked up the MK II from a 93 Y.O. WWII British RAF pilot who used it in Hi-power matches until his age and health said to stop back in 2010. ...

Re: Browning has ceased producing Hi Power

I have a bubba'ed 1942 Belgium made pistol that I really like, even with the stupid rib attached to the slide. Ex bullseye center fire pistol from the 1970's.

My bubba'd 1942 Hi-Power.............................

I bought this pistol from an estate and it was used as a center fire gun in bullseye pistol matches dating back to the early 1970's, back when ruining a prized bring back with a Bomar rib was the norm. All matching #'s and no import stamp. Paid $350.00 Two mags and case. Bill IMG_1023.JPG [attachmen...

I like that crest very much. It would look very nice on my Romanian contract VZ24.

Re: CZ 52 problem??????????????

I also ordered a 16.5 LB recoil spring as the original was slightly bowed.

Re: CZ 52 problem??????????????

Thanks guys. The problem is a weak magazine spring. I will be contacting Wolff and ordering a three pack. One mag works fine pushing up on the lever, the other one not so much. I already have a Harrington firing pin and rollers installed.

Re: Correct WW2 Sling

I also prefer original [SA] T stamped war time slings for my Finn Mosins and the one Russian 5 line 91-30 I have. I don't feel I have a complete rifle unless it has a proper sling and cleaning rod.

Re: start of gun show season

We have four RK shows here during the major summer holiday W/E's and one in November. I haven't been to one in over five years as it's always the same vendors pushing the same junk they had at shows past and overpriced too. My last four surplus rifles came from better shows in Franklin TN., Huntsvil...

Re: Who here uses a wet tumbler?

I run my Frankford Arsenal model for the full three hour cycle and it even cleans the primer pockets to like new condition. The drum is large enough that I can clean 4-500 pcs of .45ACP at a time.
